📚 Early Literacy Skills
- Recognizes most uppercase and lowercase letters
- Knows basic letter sounds (A says “ah,” B says “buh”)
- Enjoys listening to books and can retell simple stories
- Recognizes their name in print
- Begins to identify rhyming words and patterns
- Can hold a book correctly and turn pages one at a time

- Counts aloud to 20 or higher
- Recognizes numbers 1–10
- Understands concepts like “more” and “less”
- Can sort objects by size, shape, or color
- Identifies basic shapes (circle, square, triangle, etc.)

✍️ Fine Motor Skills
- Holds a pencil, crayon, or marker with control
- Can draw basic shapes and lines
- Traces and attempts to copy letters
- Can use scissors to cut along a straight or curved line
- Glues and pastes with minimal help
- Builds with blocks or manipulates small objects with coordination
🏃 Gross Motor Skills
- Can run, jump, hop, and balance on one foot
- Climbs playground equipment with confidence
- Participates in movement games and songs
- Throws and catches a ball with growing control
💛 Social-Emotional Development
