📚 Early Literacy Skills

1. Recognizes most uppercase and lowercase letters
2. Knows basic letter sounds (A says “ah,” B says “buh”)
3. Enjoys listening to books and can retell simple stories
4. Recognizes their name in print
5. Begins to identify rhyming words and patterns
6. Can hold a book correctly and turn pages one at a time

➕ Early Math Skills

1. Counts aloud to 20 or higher
2. Recognizes numbers 1–10
3. Understands concepts like “more” and “less”
4. Can sort objects by size, shape, or color
5. Identifies basic shapes (circle, square, triangle, etc.)
6. Begins to recognize simple patterns (AB, AABB, etc.)

✍️ Fine Motor Skills

1. Holds a pencil, crayon, or marker with control
2. Can draw basic shapes and lines
3. Traces and attempts to copy letters
4. Can use scissors to cut along a straight or curved line
5. Glues and pastes with minimal help
6. Builds with blocks or manipulates small objects with coordination

🏃 Gross Motor Skills

1. Can run, jump, hop, and balance on one foot
2. Climbs playground equipment with confidence
3. Participates in movement games and songs
4. Throws and catches a ball with growing control
