  6. Begins to recognize simple patterns (AB, AABB, etc.)

  1. Holds a pencil, crayon, or marker with control
  2. Can draw basic shapes and lines
  3. Traces and attempts to copy letters
  4. Can use scissors to cut along a straight or curved line
  5. Glues and pastes with minimal help
  6. Builds with blocks or manipulates small objects with coordination
